Google Tablets: The Best Available Models in the Market Today

google tablets

With the rise of technology, it is no surprise that we all want to take advantage of it every chance we get. While most people have a computer and smartphone, tablets are another option that is just as popular. They have many uses and functions that you cannot get from a smartphone or computer.

They are a great option for kids because they run on Wi-Fi and don't require a cell phone provider like a smartphone. This also makes them more affordable. Most tablets have parental controls, so they are useful even for the littlest kids.

Beyond that, they are very portable. They often have the functionality of a computer but in a small package similar to a smartphone, so they make a nice balance between the other two options. They can be slipped in a bag and taken pretty much anywhere.

You have three main options when it comes to operating systems on tablets. One of those is Android, which is the Google-based operating system. Android is incredibly popular in smartphones, too. It has the largest app database and is a favorite for many people.

If you are considering buying a tablet, it is well worth it to take a look at Google tablets. We simplified things for you by presenting you with the top 10 Google tablets on sale right now. We have reviewed them and gathered all the important information so you don't have to spend the time doing it yourself. 2. Are Google tablets user friendly?

4. What screen size should I choose?

How We Compiled Our Reviews

We put together each review of the top Google tablets carefully and with focus. We want to provide you with a comprehensive guide you can use to help you buy your tablet. We looked at expert reviews, user comments and the manufacturer's information. We considered how the tablets work and thought about overall usability. We also made sure to take a look at complaints and issues people have had with the tablet.

Using all this information and our own observations about how each works, we put together our list. We made sure it was unbiased and provided only accurate information. You can trust we present you with only the facts in our reviews below.

Overall Price Range of Google Tablets

Tablet prices are often based on the screen size and the memory. If you want a bigger tablet, you will pay more. The same is true for more memory. Whether you buy new, used or refurbished will also affect the cost. Prices can range from around $50 to upwards of $400 for Google tablets. The seller you buy from also will affect the price.

Keep in mind that some of the tablets on our list are discontinued, but they are still readily available on the market. You do have to watch for overinflated pricing on these models. Some people will slap on a huge price because they want to get as much as possible and know the tablet is harder to find since it isn't being sold by the manufacturer anymore. Always shop around. You can often find a reasonable price with just a little looking around. These tablets should never cost you more than $400, even for brand-new models with larger screens and additional features.

The Verdict

Looking over the tablet choices on our list, it can be hard to pick the top tablet because of all the variables. How well a tablet functions depends on many factors, from the operating system to the processor speed. In addition, each person has different needs. Someone who uses a tablet for reading or light web browsing will think one tablet is great, while another person who wants to play games or heavily uses apps would think the same tablet is horrible.

Think about your needs and consider what it is that is most important to you in a tablet. For example, if you use apps a lot and want to be able to download and use many different ones, then you will need a faster processor with a fair amount of memory or expandable storage. Image quality will be important if you want to use the tablet to stream videos. Poor image quality can make a tablet pretty useless for streaming because you are watching from up close where sharpness and vibrant colors are a must. On the other hand, if you mainly will use it to read books or browse the web, you won't need that fast a processor and image quality isn't as important.

As you can see from our list, you also need to think about whether you want a brand-new tablet or if you are OK buying used or refurbished. For the few discontinued items on our list, buying new is going to become tougher as time goes on, but that means you will save money buying used or refurbished.

We do want to say a quick word about why we included the discontinued tablets on this list of the top Google tablets. The reason was quite simple: Even though they are no longer made, they continue to get great reviews and come out on top over other options. We felt it was a disservice to you not to include them. As supplies get low, some people will jack prices up so high that it won't be worth buying them.

The bottom line when it comes to Google tablets is that you are looking at an affordable tablet selection. You won't typically run into high prices like you would with an Apple product, for example. You can get fairly fast processors, and the newer models offer amazing image quality. You can get a great deal on a tablet that will last you for quite some time. The overall image of a Google tablet is that it offers the best app store available while also providing you with a price that won't shock you. If you are in the market for a tablet, it is well worth your time to take a look at the Google tablets on the market.
